Art Direction, Branding Development
for an art centric non-profit
I partnered with artist Derrick Adams to create a cohesive visual system for Charm City Cultural Cultivation, a parent organization with three core programs serving Baltimore’s underserved communities. The goal was to unify the brand while making it simple to visually distinguish each program.
I developed a color-coded identity system where each program has its own vibrant palette, balanced within an overarching brand framework to create a sense of cohesion and togetherness. The design also lends itself to a custom pattern—providing a flexible, recognizable brand asset that can be applied across marketing materials, merchandise, and community events.
The result is a visual identity that is both functional and expressive: clear enough to guide audiences through multiple initiatives, yet dynamic enough to reflect the energy, creativity, and cultural impact of the communities Charm City Cultural Cultivation serves.
